Upscale Italian cuisine with Mediterranean twist!
Caprice Restaurant Limassol is the signature restaurant of the Londa Hotel Limassol. This time I had the pleasure of dining here with a friend and in the capacity of a Food critic I comment on the 3 course menu, the Chef prepared exclusively for us that night.
The Chef of Caprice Restaurant Limassol, is Vassos Michael and I have known him for the last 7 years. Vassos, exceeds the 31 years at the Londa and for all these years he is behind the creations of the signature and innovative dishes of the Caprice Restaurant Limassol. He is very charismatic and talented, humble and friendly at the same time and a true expert of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine

With emphasis to healthy options he avoids complicated recipes, uses daily fresh products and he does not particularly follow the different trends. As he was telling me, he managed to design his own unique Italian Mediterranean fusion through coordinated menus with consultant chefs from Italy. Speaking of his own preference, the Chef points out the Iceberg Salad but also speaks highly of his homemade Pasta, mentioning that his favorite dish is the Ravioli with Buffalo, topped with a mouth-watering sauce.
We start off with a refreshing glass of Ruinart Rose champagne to accompany the starters and appetizers to follow. Home made bread and rolls and a nice presentation of olives, a tasty dip and virgin olive oil.
From the first few bites of food, I knew I was in for a treat! We started off with the Fresh Crab Soufflé with Grilled Prawns and Chive sauce. A soufflé makes an elegant first course for company, and it was indeed a great choice. Moist juicy crab with melting texture!
The Grilled Octopus with Chickpeas cream and Caramelized Onions was tender and flavorsome, but I preferred it authentic without the caramelized onions which spoiled the full taste of the octopus. Pairing wine, the Xynisteri Zampartas.

After the shockingly tasty dinner at the Caprice Restaurant and full by now, it was time for dessert. How to resist the Blackberry Cheese cake! The flavours came together in harmony while the cheese cake layer was divine. The second choice the Panacotta and Vanilla Ice cream, -both superb!
The Pool at Night
The Caprice Restaurant Limassol and Bar have an exceptional reputation on the island. Definitely make a reservation and hurry book now for the Christmas holidays. Parking could be a bit of a problem as the hotel’s parking space is limited. A friend was compelled to park outside the hotel’s grounds but it was a Sunday. As a result of the quality and exquisite tastes, more and more residents prefer to dine in the hotel but there is also a great number of devoted locals who keep coming back for years. Don’t miss the new inspiring menus that come out twice a year with a variety of choice.
The Caprice Restaurant Limassol deserves its status! The entire experience achieved perfection, from the food to the service to the atmosphere & the attitude. We enjoyed exceptional waiter service by Petros and Panayiotis. For those of you searching for a culinary experience like no other, look no further than the vibrant Caprice which I highly recommend. Just another reason added to the list of many benefits of staying at the Londa Hotel Limassol.
