Lobby Ambience
I was extremely happy to receive a second invitation from the Four Seasons Doha and this last stay was really a treat. It justly deserves its top ranking as the best business hotel in Doha. The interior is classy and mixed with Middle East touches.

Its grand edifice is outstanding and was inspired by the Moorish architecture of the Alhambra Palace & fortress complex in Granada, Spain. The interior is elegant and classy with marble columns and walls, sophisticated and rare pieces of classic furniture. Just like any other Four Seasons Hotel around the world it keeps its high quality to the highest standards.

Check-in was fast and efficient. They guys at the reception desk remembered us from our previous visit and we were greeted by our names. The overall service level at the reception was beyond excellent.
Room
Our Deluxe room #602 was gorgeous, well equipped, pleasantly spacious and spotless. I love the turquoise touches…matching well with the colour of the sea. The tiny balcony offered spectacular views of the beautiful gardens and the turquoise waters of the Gulf. I remember how I would wake up to the sight of sunrise every morning to take photos.
The superb King size bed with duvet covering and pillows preserved a state of constant serenity.It was huge and comfortable…simply greatA day-bed type of couch, plush brocade furniture, lilies in a vase, a nice working desk added this extra touch of pampering that makes guests feel special. The sound-proof walls made us feel as if we were on a private wing and the positive energy of the interior was reflected all over.

Complimentary treats were constant -dainty morsel, tropical fruit, all nicely presented. We had the standard welcome letter from the management team and each day we had a different surprise!
I must say we really appreciated the capsule coffee machine! Very recently I had several of my precious photos corrupted and unfortunately a number of them were from the Four Seasons Doha Hotel.
Bathroom
Spacious and elegant with a deep soaking tub, the bathroom had a separate walk in shower cubicle, and a separate toilet. Loved the elegant vanity notice make-up mirror on back of shelf and the drawer storage. Toiletries like the Italian classic brand ‘Aqua di Parma’ and the ‘La Source’ British products of Grabtree & Evelyn. The latter has a calming refreshing blend of marine essences.

Not only were the views from the suite gorgeous in the daytime, they were incredibly gorgeous in the nighttime as well.
Breakfast
Breakfast takes place at ‘Nusantao Sea Kitchens’ which doubles up as a fusion restaurant for lunch and dinner. There is always a great mix of Western, Middle eastern and Asian foods.
The Nusantao buffet is up of several cuisines and it is heavenly. Between us, breakfast was like lunch. Different to other hotels, with snacks from 6 different regions. It is up to the individual to decide.
It is either taking a culinary trip to the 6 regions or have the normal American breakfast of oatmeal porridge, eggs and ham and croissants that we come across in other hotels.
Even out of curiosity one should try at least a couple of these popular dishes. The Dim Sum, Egg pull noodles, Masala dosa, Sambar Indian spiced Lentil stew, and the Ratatouille are only a few to mention.
We dined twice at the Nusantao during our stay and I had a business lunch at the Italian restaurant as well. The experience in both was memorable.
Pools & Garden
The Four Seasons Hotel Doha is the centerpiece of Doha’s waterfront West Bay business and residential complex, combining the individual elements of a hotel and associated buildings, offices, apartments, townhouse and a marina. If you see it from above it looks like a fortress palace.
This 5-star deluxe luxury hotel stands within Doha’s main commercial district, and yet on its own private beach. It is only a 7-minute walk to the City Mall and within walking distance to the main office quarters. Its unique location makes it the ‘go to’ business hotel.
The pools are like an oasis with shaded lounge and private cabanas set in amazing gardens.The three level grotto pool is simply superb and a paradise for all ages. Pool attendants are ready to help guests anytime. What really stands out that make the difference in the garden are the 2 beautiful wind towers.
Verdict
To summarize, the Four Seasons of Doha is lovely and offers all of the high-end features that the Four Seasons properties offer, in a more trendy and classy design. The hotel is centrally located and it is only a 10-minute drive from the Museum of Islamic Arts. Overall, the Four Seasons of Doha embraces everything that I enjoy about a hospitality experience. It excels at service, glamour, luxury and cuisine. West Bay is a great choice for travellers interested in relaxation, beaches and family-friendly trips. I definetely can recommend it to you.
