Four Seasons Hotel Limassol nestles in a desirable and tranquil beachside right on a cosy Blue Flag sandy beach. Very close to the city centre, that makes it an ideal base to explore Cyprus; a beautiful city steeped in history and culture. This fantastic 5* hotel is a haven for business travellers and pleasure seekers visiting the island. An absolutely brilliant and the best in terms of luxury and hospitality so don’t miss this gem if you can afford to stay here. Your five-star experience begins as you step foot in the lobby. Fabulous delicate hanging chandeliers are hard to miss as you make your way to through the light atrium towards three reception stations, offering a warm personal welcome as your Four Seasons experience starts.

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

I was dropped off outside the main entrance of the hotel around 1:30 pm, and greeted by a friendly bell boy. From that moment on, my bag was taken care of the valet service while I enjoyed a private check-in. As a repeater, faces are familiar, and several members of the team know me by name just as I do. Check-in was efficient and speedy and was brought a damp towel to freshen up.

Style and Character

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

My room was not yet ready, but it was not a problem at all. I decided to enjoy my welcoming treat -a glass of fresh orange juice by the lounge where I had the opportunity to marvel at the beautiful interior and call my Mum telling her that I arrived. Mums always worry I know this feeling quite well. The grand foyer and atrium with dazzling grey marble décor will amaze you! Although the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol is large in general, you can enjoy its extensive 5-star facilities and still have an intimate, secluded luxury holiday.

Garden Studio Upper Floor Adults Only Wing

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

I stayed at a Garden studio upper floor which came with 36 sq.m of comfortably furnished space featuring an innovative, luxurious design and a private Jacuzzi located on the balcony. The finer details and little extras really made the studio feel special.

Facilities here cover every aspect of comfort; with a massive wardrobe and ample storage areas, and drawers, there was no way a single pin found lying around. The bedding is always something to appreciate because it is consistently comfortable. My king-size bed was beyond that. It was heavenly! You can also enjoy coffee and tea in your room thanks to the Nespresso & Tea/Coffee making facilities. The coffee maker was a favourite one as I love to make coffee first thing when I wake up in the morning. The tablet on the working desk was immensely helpful. You could control lighting, the room’s temperature, electric curtains, room indicators, ambient light, not disturb & service, plus reserve your table at the different restaurants of your choice. The USB ports and outlet made it easy for me to charge my phone and devices, not to mention the complimentary 10mbps Wi-Fi as well.

Complimentary Treats

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

A lovely fruit platter and a personal welcoming note from the Executive Director was waiting for me in the studio and a bottle of Prosecco placed in a champagne ice bucket with ice cubes. The Four Seasons’ Candle treat, the third day, was another sweet gesture. I loved its fragrance and decided to light the candle for a couple of hours that last evening to reminisce over my stay, extending memories to be transported back when at home. The scents, in general, are relaxing, leaving guests spellbound.

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

Of course, you will be amazed at the additional luxurious services and amenities of the Garden studios. Besides the private check-in, including Valet service for unpacking of luggage, guests at this wing are offered complimentary drinks and canapés before dinner, complimentary magazine, and daily local English newspaper. Room service is punctual, the ladies are way too friendly and ready to meet your needs, and I was impressed having the iron facilities brought to the studio in no time! I can’t fault anything – housekeeping and turndown service was prompt every night.

The All-Marbled Bathroom

The bathroom was a delight and stands out in the newly refurbished studios of the adult-only garden wing. Spacious and elegant, an all-marbled bathroom featuring a large vanity area, a Villeroy and Boch spa bath with remote control operation and a separate walk-in shower with Chroma therapy that creates especially soothing effects of flowing colour sequence.

When the time came to get ready for my evening dinner, I took great pleasure doing everything at a long and leisurely pace. The spa bathtub Jacuzzi felt marvellous. I suppose you appreciate simple day-to-day things more when you don’t usually have the time to do them. Be sure to check the Highlights and stories file of my Instagram posts!

Garden Studios Lower Floor

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

Superbly sheltered in lush surroundings, the studios feature an innovative lavish design and smart room technology similar to the upper floor. Instead of the outdoor Jacuzzi, these studios out here have a refreshing river pool directly in front of their garden balcony.

How the Beach is Like!

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

The hotel has its own beachfront with shallow clear waters and no waves. There are loungers, and beach service from early morning till late afternoon. As I write this, I recall those lazy moments of the day, spoiling myself by the beautiful secluded sandy beach, taking long walks early in the morning before breakfast, sunbathing and swimming for hours. All photos were taken early in the morning when I was out to catch the sunrise!

Swimming Pools to Die for!

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

The large pool, a family lagoon with more sunbeds than you could count, is impressive, while the waterslide keeps busy through the day with children jumping and splashing in the water countless times. With lots of outside seating, it is never hard to find a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

The Adults-only Infinity-edge Pool

Indoor Pool of the Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

Sleek, airy and flooded with natural light, the indoor pool is ideal for year-round swimming. I remember I spent much time out here a year back, but I wouldn’t trade my private garden Jacuzzi of the studio for any other pool this time. Besides, every time I would pass by I found it busy and noisy with youngsters.

The Tropical Restaurant

Four Seasons Hotel Limassol

I was on HB on this last stay and had the opportunity to enjoy exclusively the culinary delights of this restaurant only which is just as excellent as the rest. There are so many different items that even the pickiest of eaters would be satisfied, plus you could order off the menu to accompany the buffet. The Carvery theme night was the one that stood out from the rest with a show and fireworks. Extra benches, nicely presented with tempting and mouthwatering dishes were placed outside extending out to the family pool.

Four Seasons Hotel LimassolJust for the record, the Vivaldi by Mavromatis Restaurant has recently been honoured from the unique institution known as the Gold Chef Hats Awards as the Best Hotel Restaurant for Mediterranean Cuisine. Be sure before checking-out to book a table here and try the cuisine.
