Good Value!
Labranda Aloe Club is set in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful Dunas in Corralejo. The hotel offers a great base for holidays. You can soak up the sunshine and take advantage of all the activities offered. Our flight arrived in time in Fuerte Ventura but missed the airport shuttle for Corralejo for seconds.
Entrance
To make story short, we shared the taxi fare with another couple who requested to join us, as they were heading to the same direction. On the way, and as it was getting dark, we had the feeling that the taxi driver wanted to charge more. It was obvious he did because he was making rounds pretending that he does not know exactly where the hotel was, even though we showed him the location on the map.
Lobby
The staff at the reception desk were very welcoming and check-in was a matter of a few minutes. In the meantime. the restaurant had already closed so the only chance to have something to eat was to request if we could have some snacks at least for the night. We were escorted to the suite which was right above the main building.
Our suite was the first one in the corridor, right above the main building so we were very close to the reception. Before even having the luggage unpacked, the boys from the restaurant knocked the door. We were happily surprised with the goodies they brought. We were expecting snacks in reality but what we got was a proper meal. What a nice gesture!

Room
We had the room #304, which was very close to the reception. It was spacious and impeccably clean, with a separate bedroom and a comfortable sitting area. The balcony overlooked the pools and garden. The only fault I had with the hotel was the Wi Fi.
Although the room provided kitchenette facilities, there were little or no utensils in the room. For instance a kettle was missing which was a must, but when we informed the receptionist we were sent one. We used it a couple of times, but we made sure that we hit the bar before 11:00pm.

We had two singles but we did not mind that much. We were glad they were comfortable enough and clean. Maid service was 5days per week (Weds and Friday off), the beds were changed regularly and towels as requested.

Bathroom
The bathroom we had was of average size with a bathtub, nothing special, and towels were ok.

The Premium area
The swimming pools were great although we only used them once because we were mostly out. There is always a guard on duty by the way and we noticed that there were no restrictions to Premium area. All residents had access to the premium pool.

In terms of food, we felt more like we were on full board. There were specific times that the breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner were served, but no food available outside those times. Choice was plentiful and tastes satisfying!
Breakfast at the Labranda Aloe Club, included lots of sausage and bacon, as well as several alternatives, enough to keep everyone satisfied. Drinks that were served were locally produced Alcohol and non-alcohol, soft drinks, beer, juices, tea and coffee.
Themed nights were every night but pretty much the same stuff – which I guess is to cater for general tastes. If you get a chance to go to the Italian venue, do it, but this is for premium guests only. In times when the restaurants were closed, there was generally one bar open at any one time, although there was self-service then, with soft drinks, tea or coffee.
Night Entertainment
The entertainment singers at the Labranda Aloe Club were excellent for 2 nights but there were nights that the program was not that good and times when the music was loud. Entertainment wasn’t up to much but we weren’t expecting it to be and if we had wanted it that much, we could have paid more to go elsewhere. The staff couldn’t do enough for their guests.

Just for the record -the normal fare for taxi to the city is €4.00 and taxi from the airport €45.00 each way. On the way back, we used the bus and it was easy and handy.
Beach
We went to the beach only once with the hotel’s shuttle. It was truly amazing. A long stretch of white sands and crystal waters. A crowded beach, we only sunbathed as there was a strong current. We got back to the Labranda Aloe Club in the afternoon with the same shuttle, and on our return we enjoyed the sand dunes which were brilliant.
Verdict
We would pleasantly stay here again if ever back to Corralejo. The food was good the service excellent, the room spacious and clean, not to mention the value of money! For us, it was a great and memorable stay. If bars, nightlife, shopping or sampling delicious restaurants and cafes are what you are after, why not head 500m from the Aloe Club Resort in Corralejo!
