A tranquil waterside hideaway!

The Londa Hotel Limassol is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the world and it is as honeymoon-perfect as it gets! It is more than a hotel Spa, blessed with spectacular views, a tranquil waterside hideaway, just moments from bustling Limassol. Well trained staff offer top notch personalized service. The aesthetically pleasing interior of the Londa gives out a charm and a relaxing intimate ambience. The majority of suites overlook the bay with each room having its own character.

It was so nice to be back and see familiar faces, members of the staff I have seen in other visits. From check in to check out, the staff is fantastic. Their friendliness are genuine and in general all personnel are well trained, accommodating and helpful. I spent two dreamy nights on a business trip at this amazing hotel once again. The aesthetically pleasing interior of fine taste throughout the building gives out a charm and a relaxing intimate ambience. Pure bliss -a second to none atmosphere!

It is no coincidence that the esteemed World Travel Awards bestowed the Londa with the “Cyprus’ Leading Boutique Hotel” and the “Cyprus’ Leading Hotel” awards for the 11th consecutive year, testimony of its continued recognition of quality and personalized service.

The Suite

I had the Superior side-view suite #310. The immaculate luxury apartment with its contemporary Italian styling had detailed touches you hardly find elsewhere. The comfortable lounge area features a rotating TV consul but I never bothered switch on the TV, even for the news.

The king-size bed preserved a state of constant serenity. How I loved the linens being bright, spotless and fragrant! I enjoyed the sleep so much here that I hardly wanted to leave the bed in the morning.

You come across these lovely little touches like the handles of the wardrobe above the moment you step in any of the suites, but you still keep having little surprises as they are scattered here and there. Each suite has its own character and all styled with sophistication and attention to detail.

Lacking view was the downside of this suite though –overlooking the high building across an alley.

Once I entered the suite I was delighted to see a bottle of local wine along with a platter of fruit and the most welcoming message from the management waiting for me. As per usual, a wonderful gesture.

Bathroom

Besides the major bathroom there was this separate shower room. Thankfully, the comfort of the suite helped keep my mind busy and happy, and stopped me from thinking how very different the stay would have been if the suite was overlooking the beach.

Pool

Beach

A small patch of secluded sandy beach with a few loungers out there, and a fantastic pool area on the lovely terrace above. (Popular for barbeques and private dinners upon request)

Breakfast

Londa Hotel LimassolQuality variety, American buffet with ample of choice of normal and healthy options. The in house restaurant staff are very accommodating and nice.

Lounge Bar

A lovely place to relax, and a favourite of mine. Its intimate interior overlooks the sea and the azure of the pool. Depending on the day and time of year guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere the year round over the sounds of Jazz or piano playing.

During my stay at the Londa Hotel Limassol, I had the pleasure of having both lunch and dinner at the Caprice Restaurant Limassol once again, the signature restaurant of the Londa. The hotel has a lovely and busy Spa. Be sure to check the article. I could not resist booking a signature full body massage for an hour.

The SpaVerdict

The Londa Hotel Limassol embraces everything that I enjoy about a hospitality experience. For business clientele or not, for a relaxing spa getaway, or beach holidays, even for dinning, you can rest assured that nothing will let you down.

  1. Been to the Londa Beach hotel twice a couple of years back. Stayed only once but returned with friends as a guest to a friend’s party. Unique for weekend breaks…
