The beautiful interior

The whole design of the hotel and rooms is special, luxurious and extremely tasteful

Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly faces and a welcome drink to get the ball rolling. The amazing staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thank you, guys 🙂

Melia Hotel Dubai

Room

The interior of the room had the basic amenities, was average in size with a pleasant ambience and refined modern décor. The Melia became our little paradise where we felt peaceful after a busy day in the big city of Dubai.

Room service was quick and the food was good. The only complaint I would have is the noise from the clubs when you are in the rooms, which can be quite disturbing if you have an early morning start. The welcoming treat was highly appreciated!

Bathroom

The interior was lovely. The egg shape bathtub can steal any woman’s heart. A white, oval tub, with orchids and a warm light that makes you feel like a diva!

Breakfast

The breakfast buffet at the Melia Dubai hotel was fine with the usual offering of juices cold foods, egg stations etc. One of the best selections of food for breakfast. Inside the hotel and on the top floor, you have a great selection of restaurants with different cuisines and the most important thing is that you can find one open until late after midnight.

YHI SPA

The YHI Spa of the Melia Dubai hotel is an award-winning Spa and the staff members are highly committed to giving you the most relaxing time regardless of how tiring the day is. The area is cosy and I felt relaxed from the moment I stepped into this place. The experience started with a warm welcome by the Spa Manager and Liza helped and guided me to the Spa area where she introduced me to my therapists. Ethel did a fantastic job. I had the Swedish relaxing massage -the YHI Cold Stone Facial, which is purely refreshing and soothing treatment. She used chilled marble stones to stimulate pressure points on the face, truly a gorgeous treatment!

Rooftop Pool

Verdict

Although, pedestrian access to the Melia Dubai hotel is possible through the basement and the views from the hotel are not the most attractive at times, despite this, if I were to return to Dubai I would stay at the Melia again. The staff were most helpful and pleasant, the area around the hotel has its own buzz that I feel is more genuine than the flashy newly built parts of town.
