A Short Pleasant Stay!
Sheraton Grand Krakow offers luxury touches that echo the essence of what you want as a traveler. Before arranging to visit this property I had a look on the Sheraton Grand Krakow reviews to have an idea what to expect. The property is ideally located on the bank of the Vistula River near the stunning Wawel Royal Castle, offers awesome views to both. It is just a 10-minute walk to the Market Square and famous Kazimierz district.
We arrived much earlier, so as to leave luggage with the concierge and start our day’s sightseeing tour of the city, as early as possible. The concierge and reception staff did their best on every level. The welcome was warm and friendly, our luggage was stored and later carrried up to the suite.

In the meantime we were informed that we had been upgraded and we were offered a welcoming drink. We had it by the Panoramic Rooftop Terrace where I was to meet the Executive Chef of the Sheraton Hotel to arrange the time of the culinary Tasting experience that same evening. We left the hotel for our sight-seeing tour and returned in the afternoon anxious to see what our room would be like.
Room
During our stay at the Sheraton Grand Krakow we had the Club Room #307, well appointed, pleasantly spacious and spotless, with upgraded amenities for business and leisure travelers. Wooden furniture, in-room work desk and a mini-bar loaded with snacks for a quick bite (not complimentary). TV and Satellite Channels and an iPod Docking Station. Besides the coffee/tea maker and an Espresso machine, I appreciated a lot the ironing facilities, not always offered in 5-star hotels. There was a safe of course and complimentary bottles of water. I still remember how I enjoyed an absolute uninterrupted sleep I had due to the top quality plush mattress and the peace and quiet in the room. The luxe linens, the cozy duvet, but also the soundproof window and thick curtains that prevented light from coming in, not to mention the beautiful view!

The highlight of the room as you might have already understood, was the stunning view of the river. A poster-like scene that remains vivid in my mind ever since I left. The complimentary treat was novel. The playful presentation was and nice surprise and highly appreciated. It’s no secret that I love to eat and sampling the incredible gastronomic offerings.

Breakfast
It is here at the Olive Restaurant of the Sheraton Grand Krakow that guests take their breakfast every morning. The open-plan interior is as breathtaking as the surroundings. The spectacular and stunning glass-roof atrium provides plenty of natural light and the atmosphere throughout the premises is second to none.

The interactive show kitchen of the Olive Restaurant Krakow provides all creativity, embellishing the simple love of good food. The buffet variety is ample, enough to satisfy demanding palates. A wonderful way to start your day on the right food.

Indoor Pool
Our stay at the Sheraton Grand Krakow was so short that we did not have the time to enjoy this facility even for once on this first visit.
Verdict
The Sheraton Grand Krakow excels at service, glamour and cuisine. It is the benchmark for other hotels. If you want to pamper yourselves and have a memorable stay, look nowhere else and book without a second thought. It offers luxury touches that echo the essence of what you want as a traveler -comfort, service and beauty for all five senses. If this is what you are after, then this is the place for you.
