Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows is highly famous, and even though not one of the newest, yet it keeps strong and continues to be a class hotel ranking high in the preference of thousands of guests who choose to spend their holidays here. The city centre and the International Airport of Larnaca is a matter of a 10 and 20-minute ride respectively from the Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows. There are several restaurants on-site, and also a supermarket across the road, but I bet you would not leave the grounds not once since you can find amazing and quality cuisine on the premises. Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows Grounds
For the last several years that I am back here, my mood changes the moment I step out of the car, feeling relaxed and connected to nature, surrounded by the garden’s palm trees and other tropical plants. The grass, as if a green rug stretching out by the side of the parking lot, creating the ideal setting for unforgettable holidays!
I have a great love for palm trees which in a way they travel me, and on this visit, the trees had fruit hanging on all sides. A true marvel, the hibiscus, on the other hand, was all over and ferns and other things I can only grow at home in pots. The Palm Beach Hotel & Bungalows consists of two structures with a footpath connecting the main building with the bungalows through the lush garden. Upon entering the main building, the lovely interior with the pastel colours and trendy furnishings evokes a delightful ambience.
Leaving the car in the parking lot, along with my sister, we head towards the main entrance where a friendly porter welcomed us with a smile and offered to carry the luggage indoors. We were warmly welcomed at the reception; our check-in was a matter of a couple of minutes before we head to the room. A few minutes later, the porter brought the luggage up and explained a few things about the air conditioning and TV channels in case we were interested.
Style and Character
The marbled-floor lobby is elegant and stylish, flooded with light, a cosy and relaxing spot, an oasis of tranquillity to enjoy a drink by the indoor bar, have a friendly chat with friends, watch TV or listen to music in the evening.
Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows Room 213
On this stay, I was given room 213, a newly refurbished one, a relatively small -just 22 square meters counting in the bathroom. It was impeccably clean, though, well arranged and functional. The wardrobe and other pieces of furniture provided so much storage space that made me happy. I also appreciated the coffee/tea facilities, the pot with fresh flowers, the king-size bed and the fantastic view. I can’t remember even once switching on the multi-channel TV set which was hanging above the working desk. Instead, I kept myself busy with other activities that pleased me out here instead of watching TV.
The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and I had it all to myself, while pillows were just the right ones. Linen was bright and fresh, I appreciated the safety box and the dressing table with its functional drawers.
A pot with fresh flowers was decorating the rotunda table across the room, with a bottle of red house wine and a platter of seasonal fruit upon arrival. What a grand gesture!
The day before checking-out, there was another surprise. I found a thick envelope left for me to open upon entering the room that day. What a pleasant surprise to be sent a nicely presented vacuum-packed botanical tea blend that day!
Room’s Panoramic View

I bet since the majority of you are nature lovers, you won’t find it difficult to imagine the feeling of seeing one such beautiful sunrise the moment you get out of bed and approach the window. Clouds add to this beauty and depending on the temperature, you get these fantastic colours. If you are curious to ask if I used Photoshop, the answer is NO I did not. What you see is the real magic of that moment. It made my day! Imagine that one of the reasons I return to this fantastic hotel for the last 20 years, probably more, is for its gorgeous views as well. If you are after a beautiful resort that offers exemplary service, a hotel that greets you by name, with a view that travels you to exotic destinations, and your preferable city happens to be my beautiful hometown Larnaca, then the @palm.beachhotel is the place to be. #sunsets #sunset #sky #nature #clouds #sunset_pics #landscape #photography #picoftheday #amazingplaces #naturephotography #sun #sunsetlovers #summer #street #landscapes #sea #photooftheday #horizon #landscapephotography #beach #instagood #sunsetlover #travel #travelling #travelgram #instatravel #travelphotography #skyline #capture
It pays to have a sea view room for sure! Mine, overlooked the blue Mediterranean waters, the palm tree garden, the pools the beach bar and restaurant. The view is breathtaking, and it would pay you off if you wake up early to catch the first glimpse of the sunrise! Check my Instagram stories to see what I mean and listen to the sounds I recorded!
Although tiny yet the bathroom was extremely functional. It was well-lit impeccably clean and shining. The little pot with fresh flowers counted a lot too. A picture-window for natural lighting and a rain shower with excellent heat and power and separate handheld unit available, over the bathtub.
Bathrobes & slippers, however standard toiletries –nothing fancy, to match with the rest of the so cute and functional bathroom!
The Coffee Shop – Breakfast
The recently refurbished, well lit and airy Coffee Shop with the open cooking station and an outdoor side garden is relaxing and trendy. The white colour of the walls and furniture dominates the room offering a classic and sophisticated look, with the cushions of the chairs making a contrast. I found breakfast generous, although it could do better. I loved the sautéed mushrooms and grilled tomatoes, the local halloumi cheese and the Greek coffee. The options are varied and will make your morning very happy.
Most of my acquaintances from the restaurant staff were off or on holidays the time I was there. Michael, the supervisor, makes the difference! I must have known him for at least 15 years. He was present, professional in every way, and friendly as always. I like the way he interacts with guests, always with a smile and a kind word to make your day!
The Omega Restaurant is elegant with a pleasant ambience, one of those where you relax aware that everything will be exceptional and that’s important to enjoy the whole meal. Guests can enjoy varied cuisines through the theme nights, along with living bands and singing performances as well as folkloric dancing shows. Regarding the Chef and his team of cooks, I have to admit that they are a bunch of professionals at cooking incredibly tender meat. The cuisine offers tasty and varied dishes that you will never get tired of the choice.
Incidentally, that first night, along with my sister, we were present at a very significant gathering taking place that evening. The employees and their families, most of them friends between them, along with the management, gathered to have their farewell party, and I was glad to see familiar faces and members of the team whom I know for years and had time for some chat as well. The hotel is expected to open its door again at the beginning of April.
The Sea Breeze Tavern (Summer Only)
The Sea Breeze Tavern by the pool was not open during this recent stay; however, I have dined times and again out here, and the restaurant keeps its steady value and popularity. Imagine dining by the pool overlooking the garden’s palm tree garden under a starry sky so close to the coast overlooking the Mediterranean waters!
With five in all swimming pools, two of which for children and an indoor one. Personally, my preference is the beach, but swimming pools seem to be the poles of attraction to several tourists just as it is with beach fans.
Beach and Waterfront Garden
The hotel is a stone’s throw from the beach with parasols and sunbeds nicely proportioned, extending from the pools to the garden as far as the coast. Guests find shelter under the shade of palm trees, enjoying the beauty of the garden which evokes an exotic feel. The sand is not that soft and thin a child would expect, it is not appropriate for sandcastles, water is shallow though, and you have to walk a lot in, to be able to swim, but this is pleasant too. Mind you the first few steps is pebbly, but from then on, it is pure sand. When the young guests are not playing on the beach, they have their very own Kid’s Club Oasis to keep them busy. For the little ones, the Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows provides a wide range of playground activities so that parents can enjoy some private moments.
The Wellness Centre and Leisure Club Gym
A visit to the Leisure Club Gym and Wellness Centre of the Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows was a pleasant surprise. The latter was under construction a year back when I was here again, and the result left me speechless. It now offers a wealth of facilities; the latest equipment features a fully air-conditioned gymnasium, massage parlour and beauty facilities.
The wellness spa room is modest compared to others I visited so far, but what matters are the results you get after each treatment and the way you feel.
The brand new Jacuzzi might be small, but it has its own charm while the Relaxing lounge has fresh decorative touches and make the room more appealing.
During the stay, I dropped by the Wellness Centre to arrange an appointment for the next day with the supervisor of the Spa on duty that morning, Maria. We checked the list of facials together and also booked a 45-minute back massage. I arrived promptly, introduced to Evi my therapist and started with the back massage. She asked about the preferred pressure to use from the very beginning and managed to eliminate any trace of backache after the 45-minute session with success. The 45-minute Gold Line firming facial treatment was also so skillfully done that gave my skin a healthy glow which felt gorgeous for the next two at least days.
The Hair Salon
The Hair salon which I highly recommend after visiting it is located opposite the Wellness Centre. I remember how I stepped in, introduced myself to Katerina, who is the owner and arranged to have my hair permed a little before checking-out to get to Limassol the next morning.
The owner is a qualified professional and will do her best to deliver a complete hair and beauty experience from a hair-cut, styling to waxing and more. Whether you need a trim, a colour refresh or a dramatic makeover, a visit here will leave you feeling fabulous!
Larnaca Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows is a reliable, reasonably priced and well-located hotel resort. It is also ideal for events and conference meetings. The stay was once again flawless, and enjoyed the splendid view and felt like home. Make it your first choice in Larnaca without a second thought!
