Lavicka Restaurant Prague is a friendly family owned business. You will find Czech, International and Vegetarian cuisine and premium quality beer Bernard from a family owned brewery. There is a garden fоr summers аnd а fireplace fоr winters. We happened to be in the area when we came across Lavicka, and thought to step in for lunch. Don’t be fooled by the outside look, as the real deal is at the back. Try to find seats and once you find a table there is no doubt not to enjoy your meal. The Lavicka Restaurant Prague is located at a short walk from the train station on a relatively busy street. Beautifully furbished space, pleasant atmosphere with lots of greenery. With a fish pond, a terrace under trees and a lawn with playground for kids. The backyard is so tranquil and quiet that it does not feel like you are in a big city.
A waiter handed us the English menu, and we opted for Ribs, a Risotto, and a Burger. The Ribs were slightly salty, but everything else was great.
The cuisine offers a broad selection of traditional Czech food. To mention a few of the specials –the rabbit, pork, duck, with a few more international. Fajitas, pasta and salmon steak, however we could not find Grill Vegetable-sides to replace the French fries but the ones we had were golden and crunchy so this was minor.

Lavicka Restaurant Prague has good wines too and even if we had beers ourselves I did request from the waiter to have a sip of two most popular and they were good!
The cuisine includes raw materials and seasonal dishes and does not include semi-products or instant flavors or creams. The daily menu serves as a daily menu!
Judging from the number of people who were already waiting to be served, the service was efficient… no complain!
Verdict
The food quality was fine and the best part is that prices were normal and affordable. Ask for the homemade lemonade. It is quite popular! If you stay anywhere nearby Lavicka restaurant, then this is a ‘must go’ place.
