Checking-in and Service
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the friendly and upbeat staff, and we were escorted to our bungalow. What I like about the Skopelos Holidays Hotel and Spa are the dedication and efforts they make to keep the guests happy.
The Lobby Atmosphere
You will be impressed from the moment you set foot inside their opulent, marble lobby. The tranquil ambience and aesthetically pleasing interior give out a charm and a relaxing, intimate ambience which is astonishingly inviting.

Bungalow
When I travel, I personally enjoy the space and freedom of a suite or a bungalow, along with the luxury amenities and service of a five-star hotel. If you share the same feelings, then booking at the Skopelos Holidays Hotel and Spa, the best among 5 Star hotels in Skopelos, is the perfect option! While our bungalow was contemporary furnished, it was spacious enough for the two of us, and we had all the amenities needed. The hall and bedroom come with air-conditioning units, a cosy sitting room, two closets, one of which in the bedroom that provide lots of storage place with drawers, a fridge, an in-room safe, and a floor iron clothes hanger.
There was a welcoming note next to the fresh pot of flowers on the sitting room table waiting for us, along with two marzipan delicacies which were a nice touch. By the room’s alcove, coffee/tea facilities are offered complimentary the first day of arrival only.
The bedroom
The bedroom featured a comfortable king-sized bed with bed lamps on both sides, a dressing table where the big flat TV was placed. The natural light that flooded in the room made me feel so relaxed.
Bathroom
Average in size, the tiled bathroom was fully equipped with a walk-in shower enclosure with plenty of hot water, while the washbasin countertop provided the right space to fit all our bath essentials.
Amenities like slippers and robes, towels for body and hands and a hairdryer were there for you. Towels were bright and changed daily upon request. Toiletries, on the other hand, were plentiful.
Private Oval Pool of the Bungalow
As mentioned above this fantastic hotel is the best among 5 Star Hotels in Skopelos. When people think of luxury, they think expensive! Perhaps sometimes this could be the case. The Spyrou Skopelos Experience firmly believes in top quality and great value. The Company works hard to make sure their guests are enjoying competitive nightly rates and offer a price match guarantee which honestly I haven’t had to use yet. Checking their standards, I find them excellent for what they are providing, and I appreciate having this option that definitely makes me feel more confident and secure with their services.
As far as having fun in the sun, the private oval pool of our bungalow meant to be our little oasis and paradise during our 4-night stay. Although the bungalow pools on our wing are intended to be shared, the next-door couple who dropped by for one night never bothered to get to the court-yard, so we enjoyed our little paradise in full.
The pool area features a complete set of outdoor facilities, rotunda tables, pool loungers, umbrellas and chairs. It is here that we used to spend quite a lot of time lounging, swimming and enjoying the tranquillity of the spot. What more to ask for, than peace and quiet, which we had plenty of that. If you ask me what I miss more now that I am back home from the best among 5 Star Hotels in Skopelos besides the pool, is the distinctive scent of pine in the air, the hee-haw of the donkey, and the cat, our only visitor!
The Emerald Spa and Wellness
If you want to get the full wellness experience, I highly recommend visiting the Emerald Spa and Wellness. This is the perfect place to rejuvenate and fully relax.
I really enjoyed a 40-minute superfood facial, an anti-ageing Facial Regeneration along with a peel. The facial was rich in hyaluronic acid and essential minerals that are designed to help skin instantly feel softer, firmer and radiant. I thanked my therapist, and I certainly left the Emerald Spa feeling so refreshed and calm that afternoon.
Greek Traditional Breakfast
A superb array of quality breakfast dishes awaits guests each morning under the supervision of Pantelis the Food & Beverage Manager and his team of friendly and efficient guys.
With emphasis to Greek traditional cuisine, I assure you will be able to find something that fits your taste buds as the buffet of the Selinus Restaurant offers a plethora of options.
Dinning
We had a memorable foodie experience at the Selinus Restaurant. The fantastic selection of delectable Mediterranean, local and traditional dishes were cooked with fresh ingredients from the owners’ gardens.
A few to mention; virgin olive oil, olives, local cheese, honey, and several more. As for the wine selection, it comes from the most excellent wineries through Greece.
Outdoor Pool and Bar
If you are more of a pool person, the two pools, one of which is for kids, have lots of outdoor seating with sunbeds and umbrellas on the sides.
It is never hard to find a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun whether next to the pool or closer to the Pool Bar to enjoy a cup of coffee, a drink, one of those fantastic cocktails that Kevin will prepare for you, or enjoy a quick afternoon snack.

The Poolside Patio by the Evening
We would spend blissful evenings out by the poolside patio with a couple of cocktails each evening before returning to our bungalow.
The Verdict
From start to finish our 4-night stay at the Skopelos Holidays Hotel and Spa was incredible, and we enjoyed top-notch services. It is the ideal place for honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic destination. A guest will never get tired out here. Our own stay experience had passed blissfully.
